2012-13: Posted a 6-20 record....


2011-12: Posted a 7-7 record at 174 pounds in four tournaments during his sophomore campaign … Placed third at the SF State JC Invitational, featuring a pin of Sacramento City College’s Ken Steers (Nov. 12) … Also earned a victory by fall at the 1:45 mark against Layne Grandrud of Yakima Valley College at the Mike Clock Senior Open (Nov. 6).

2010-11: Competed in three tournaments during his first season as a Gator … Emerged triumphant in six bouts, including a pair of wins at the Mike Clock Senior Open where he placed sixth … Recorded his first collegiate victory by fall at the Menlo Invitational with a pin of the host school’s Adam Obad ... Landed on the SF State Athletics honor roll for the spring semester.

PRIOR TO SF STATE: Graduated in 2010 from Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, Colo.... Was named his team’s most outstanding wrestler.

PERSONAL: Parents are Jeff and Suzanne Simon ... Has two brothers, Brett and Danny, and one sister Abby ... Plans to major in biology at SF State.
