PRIOR TO SF STATE:  Graduated in 2011 from Covina High School … Notched a pair of fifth-place performances at the CIF Southern Section Championships as a junior (112 lbs.) and senior (130 lbs.) … Came away with a fourth-place finish  at the 2011 Master’s meet … Also competed in football and baseball as a prep.

PERSONAL:  Parents are Edgar and Melissa Acevedo ... Has two siblings, Isaac and Brielle … Enjoys listening to music … Plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology.
