Alex Gilat joins the coaching staff ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Gilat was a four-year letter winner with the Gators. The former Gator played in 92 games with eight starts and recorded 219 points, 111 rebounds, 41 steals and 39 assists. Gilat was named the Elite 13 recipient during the 2024 CCAA Championship which recognizes the student-athlete with the highest academic standard among his peers at the conference tournament . A business major from Ascot in the United Kingdom, Gilat graduated with a 4.0 GPA and earned several academic honors throughout his career such as CSC Academic All-District and NABC Honors Court.
