Garman joined SF State in May 2022 as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. She is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the strength and conditioning program for all of SF State's intercollegiate teams. Garman is a National Strength and Conditioning Association CSCS and USAW Level 1 Coach.
Garman completed her MS in Kinesiology with a focus in Movement Studies from Sacramento State in 2019. While at Sacramento State, Garman interned with multiple athletic teams including football, track & field, volleyball, cross Country, men’s Basketball, and women’s basketball. In addition to interning with Sacramento State, Garman interned with Cal's football team. Both internships allowed her to be mentored by two CSCSa Master’s of Strength and Conditioning.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Exercise Science from Cal State Northridge in 2016.
