Jamil Sheared joined SF State in 2006 as the University's gameday coordinator. In his role, Sheared manages gameday operations, including setup and ticketing, and manages the student staff. His voice may be familiar, as he has served as announcer at a number of SF State sporting events and as the master of ceremonies at the annual Student-Athlete Awards Banquet.
Sheared serves as the advisor of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and helps the student-led group in their efforts of giving student-athletes a voice, organizing fundraisers, and getting involved int he community.
Sheared earned his BS from the University of Missouri. He resides with his family in Alameda.
