Mack-Talalemotu opened up the NCAA Indoor Championships in weight throw, recording an 18.88 in her second throw to reach the top-nine and qualify for the finals. Her first throw in the final round was a 19.10, which was good enough for the sixth-place finish and the All-America accolade. In shot put, Mack-Talalemotu's threw a 14.65m on her second toss, which qualified her for the finals. On her sixth and final throw of the day, the junior notched a program-high 15.30m in the final round to move into sixth place and win her second All-America award in just as many days.
