Mack-Talalemotu took first overall in shot put with a throw of 15.02m at the Stanford Invitational, beating out 13 other competitors who were mostly Division I student-athletes. Her throw is not only well above the provisional qualifying mark but it is the fifth-best throw in the nation. She returned in hammer throw to take second place with a 56.83m, another provisional qualifier and a top-10 distance in the country.
