SAN FRANCISCO--- The 2012-13 SF State Gators' men's basketball team will open up their regular season with a pair of games this weekend at the Ron Logsdon Classic in Rohnert Park, Calif., on the campus of Sonoma State University. SF State will face Dominican University (1-0) this Friday, Nov. 16. Then this Saturday, Nov. 17, the Gators will face Minnesota State (1-0). Tip-off for both games is set for 5:30pm at the Wolves' Den in Rohnert Park.
SF State went 0-2 in their two exhibition games against NCAA Division I Bay Area foes. The Gators lost 93-77 at the University of San Francisco on Oct. 27.
Nefi Perdomo led the Gators with 20 points while
Robbie Herndon chipped in 19 points. Then on Nov. 6. SF State lost 89-80 at Cal. Perdomo had 23 points to lead SF State and
Decensae White chipped in 19 points.
The Gators will return to the court the weekend of Nov. 22-23 as they will participate in the Carl's Jr. Mac Martin Classic in Chico, Calif., on the campus of Chico State. SF State will face Seattle Pacific and Colorado-Colorado Springs.
