Box Score SAN FRANCISCO---- SF State held the visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros to just 31% shooting and forced 16 turnovers by its opponents to key the Gators' 68-52 CCAA victory at The Swamp this evening. With the win, the Gators have won five of their last six games and move one game-behind first place Cal State San Bernardino and Cal Poly Pomona.

Decensae White paced the Gators (7-4, 5-2 CCAA) with his fourth double-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He finished the night 5-for-10 from the field including 3-for-4 from three's and 7-for-9 from the charity stripe. William Overton, Jr. added 11 points off the bench for the Gators.
SF State jumped out to a 13-7 lead in the first five minutes of the game and increased its lead to 20-10 on two made free throws by White with 8:32 left in the first half. The Gators continued to hold that double digit lead, 27-17, with 3:49 to go, but the Toros ended the half on a 8-0 run to cut the deficit to 27-25 heading into the locker room.
DeShaun Freeman's jumper on the Toros' first possession of the second half tied the game at 27-27, but the hosts outscored their guest 12-4 in the next six minutes capped by an
Andre Jones' three to take a 39-31 lead.
White's three with nine minutes to go gave the Gators a 51-39 lead; a lead they would not relinquish.
Cal State Dominguez Hills (7-7, 3-4 CCAA) cut the Gator lead to 58-50 with 3:45 left, but the Gators finished the game outscoring the Toros 10-2 to take the 68-52. Down the stretch, the Gators went 6-for-8 from the line as they finished the game 24-for-30 from the charity stripe.
DeShaun Freeman had 16 points to lead the way for the Toros and Pierson Williams chipped in 13 points.
SF State will return to the court tomorrow evening when the Gators host Cal State L.A. in another CCAA showdown at The Swamp. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm PST. The Golden Eagles defeated Sonoma State 62-53 in Rohnert Park ,Calif., this evening.
