SAN FRANCISCO--- After being off since their 77-57 season opening victory at William Jessup on Nov. 19, the SF State Gators will return to the court this weekend when they participate in the Carl's Jr. Mac Martin Invitational at Chico State's Acker Gymnasium in Chico, Calif. The Gators will face #9 Seattle Pacific this Friday, Nov. 29 and Dominican (Calif.) this Saturday, Nov. 30. Tip-off for both games is scheduled for 5:30pm PST.
In their season opening win,
Will Overton, Jr. paced the Gators with a career high 26 points while
Nefi Perdomo scored 18 points to go along with his 8 assists and four steals. SF State shot 48% from the field and held William Jessup to 32% shooting from the field and forced 23 turnovers. The Gators had 25 assists in their first game with Perdomo dishing out 8 and junior transfer
Bren Haley dishing out 7.
After this weekend, the Gators will return home for their CCAA opener on Friday, December 6 against Chico State at 7:30pm PST at The Swamp. Prior to the game, the SF State Alumni Association will be hosting
"Campus Comes Alive" in front of the Gymnasium from 6-7:30pm.
