SAN FRANCISCO--- The SF State Gators will begin the New Year in Southern California with a pair of CCAA road games in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Gators (5-2, 3-1 CCAA) will face Cal State L.A. on Friday, Jan. 3 at 7:30pm in Los Angeles at the Eagles Nest. Then this Saturday, Jan. 4, the Gators will travel to Carson, Calif., for a 7:30pm scheduled tip-off with Cal State Dominguez Hills at the Torodome.
SF State has won four of its last five games including the Gators' last three games in a row. They are averaging 76 points per game while giving up 69 points per game. The Gators are out-rebounding their opponents 33 to 30 while forcing 14 turnovers per game.
Nefi Perdomo leads the way for the Gators with his 21.1 points per game average while shooting 54.8% from the field.
The Gators will be on the road for 8 of their first 10 games in the New Year including this weekend's games in Los Angeles. SF State will return home on Jan. 17 when the Gators host #19 Cal State San Bernardino.
