SAN FRANCISCO---  The SF State Gators will begin a four-game road trip this weekend with a pair of conference games in the Bay Area.  The Gators will travel to Seaside, Calif., this Friday, January 24 for a 5:30pm scheduled contest against Cal State Monterey Bay.  They will then travel to Hayward this Saturday, January 25 for a 5:30pm scheduled game at Cal State East Bay.  SF State is now 9-7 overall and 5-5 in the CCAA after going 1-1 last weekend.  The Gators are tied for 7th place with Chico State.

The Gators are led by the trio of Katie Batlin, Angela Van Sickel and Lauren Varney.  Batlin is averaging a team high 14.4 points per game while leading the team with her 48 steals, 61 assists, 8.0 rebounding average, 44% shooting from the field and 71% from the line.  Van Sickel is averaging 13.0 points per game and has made a team high 33 three's while Varney is averaging 11.4 points per game while blocking a team high 13 shots.

After this weekend, the Gators will continue their four-game road trip with games at Cal State Stanislaus and Chico State as they will begin the second half of the CCAA season.
