@SFState_MBB To Face Sonoma State this Sunday Afternoon in Rohnert Park

SAN FRANCISCO –  The SF State Gators will travel to Rohnert Park, Calif., this Sunday, December 21 to face Sonoma State in a CCAA game at The Wolves Den.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2pm.

The two teams faced each other on Friday, Dec. 12 in San Francisco as the Seawolves defeated the Gators 56-54 behind James Davis' game high 23 points.  Derrick Brown led the Gators with a career high 19 points while Bren Haley added 9 points, 4 assists and 4 steals.

They are averaging 59.6 points and 28 rebounds per game while shooting 44% from the field and averaging 8.4 steals per game.  SF State's opponents are averaging 60.9 points and 27.6 rebounds per game while shooting just 39% from three-point land.  SF State is forcing 16.3 turnovers per game.   

Udun Osakue and Derrick Brown pace the Gators with their 11.0 scoring while Osakue is averaging a team high 4.6 rebounding average while Bren Haley has a team high 28 assists.  Haley is also shooting a team best 87% from the line.  Andre Jones leads the team with his 13 steals and 38% shooting from three's.  AJ Kahlon has a team high 8 blocked shots while shooting a team leading 64% from the field. 

Sonoma State is 5-1 overall and 3-0 in the CCAA while James Davis leads the Seawolves with his 21.3 scoring average, 62% shooting from the field, 67% shooting from three's and 91% shooting from the line.  David Ahern has a team high 16 assists and JJ Mina leads Sonoma State with his 5.7 rebounding averages.
