San Francisco – Comcast Sportsnet President, and SF State Alum, Ted Griggs hosted SF State President Les Wong, Vice President Robert Nava and several other prominent members of the campus community in officially welcoming new Director of Athletics Charles Guthrie.

Several of the Gators coaches and staff were also in attendance at the rooftop lounge on top of the Comcast building.  Ted Griggs welcomed those in attendance, while President Les Wong gave an updated vision of Gator athletics. 

Guthrie welcomed the new coaching hires, which include women's basketball head coach Dennis Cox, men's soccer head coach Matt Barnes, and track and field head coach Kendra Reimer.
