SAN FRANCISCO – San Francisco State Athletics is honored to join the lineup in the 2025 Fleet Week Softball Tournament on Tuesday, October 7. SF State softball student-athletes and staff will compete in the tournament, which also features the San Francisco Fire Department, San Francisco Police Department, San Francisco Sheriff's Department, and The Olympic Club.
"San Francisco State Athletics is honored to partner with San Francisco Fleet Week," said Interim Director of Athletics
Brandon Davis. "This is a great opportunity for our student-athletes recognize those who keep us safe in our community."
The tournament will take place at Moscone Park (1800 Chestnut Street, San Francisco, CA 94123). Fans are encouraged to park in Marina Greens, approximately two blocks from the fields. San Francisco State will play split squad and will field two teams in the tournament. The Gators are slated to start things off at 9 a.m. with one team facing members of the San Francisco Sheriff's Department and the other taking on members of the San Francisco Fire Department. The advancing teams will play again at 10:30 a.m. while the losers will play at 12:30 p.m. There will also be a group photo followed by the National Anthem at Noon.
