GAME NOTES
Coaches Quote
"It was the same story as yesterday," said head coach
Dennis Cox. "We had a lapse in intensity in the third quarter and dug ourselves a hole that was too deep to clubm all the way out of. I am proud of the way we fought again to come back. We stayed together and almost pulled it off."
Depth Not An Issue
For the second-straight game, SF State got contributions throughout the lineup. The Gators bench counted for 35 of the team's 62 points. Last night, the Gators bench scored 37 points.
Donae Moguel and
Jasmine Black accounted for most of that today, as they combined to score 28 of the Gators 35 bench points.
Points Off Turnovers
The SF State defense did their part on Sunday. The Gators created 18 turnovers on against Saint Martin's, which led to 21 points for SF State. Five players recorded at least one steal with Moguel and
Toni Edwards grabbing a pair of steals.
