BELMONT, Calif...— Led by
AJ Kahlon's fifth double-double of the season, the San Francisco State Gators improved to 5-0 with a 94-64 win over the Holy Names University Hawks. Kahlon recorded his third straight double-double by scoring 20 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.
Warren Jackson also chipped in 20 points and
Coley Apsay added 16 points for the victors.
The Gators held Holy Names (0-5) to just 29.6% shooting from the field including just 30% from three-point land. They also out-rebounded the Hawks 50-29
Kahlon went nine-for-14 from the field and connected on both of his attempts from the line for his 20 points. He also added 16 rebounds and three blocked shots. Jackson was seven-for-ten from the field while connecting on his only attempt from beyond the arc. The senior guard also was five-for-six from the line to go along with his five assists. Apsay was four-for-five, connecting on both of his attempts from three-point range and going five-for-six from the line. He also had five assists and one steal.
San Francisco State will return to the court tomorrow night at 7pm, when the Gators take on Notre Dame de Namur in the final game of the NDNU Thanksgiving Classic in Belmont, Calif.
GAME NOTES
GATORS: San Francisco State improved to 5-0 for the second straight year after defeating Holy Names 94-64. Three of the Gator five wins have been with a margin of victory over 24 points or more. They defeated Dominican 91-67, Concordia-Portland 86-62 and Holy Names (94-64).

Paul Trevor. "This week, we put an emphasis on rebounding,"
added Trevor. "I am proud of our complete team effort this evening."
DOUBLE-DOUBLES CONTINUE: AJ Kahlon recorded his fifth double-double this evening and third straight by scoring 20 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Last week, he was named the CCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his effort in the Gators' 2-0 weekend against Western Oregon and Concordia-Portland.
MORE A'S THAN T'S: The Gators dished out 20 assists this evening while turning the ball over 17 times.

20-2: San Francisco State is 20-2 when the Gators score over 70 points in the two seasons. Last year, they were 15-2 and this season they Gators are 5-0.
UP NEXT: The Gators will face Notre Dame de Namur in the final game of the NDNU Thanksgiving Classic tomorrow night at 7pm in Belmont. The Argonauts are currently facing Stanislaus State in the second game of the classic.
