Sierra Sagasta scored both of the Gators' goals off of assists from
Laura Shea and
Autumn Fox.
"We responded well in terms of our mentality from our Thursday match," said San Francisco State head coach
Tracy Hamm. " I thought we played hard and competed. Sierra (Sagasta) had two very nice goals. The first one was all heart and sacrifice. The second goal was a composed finished that she did well to put away."
The first half was evenly played as there was a total of 11 shots including five shots on goals (three by the Gators). Valetina Rivas looked like she was going to give her team the lead in the 30

Laura Shea. Sagasta's goal was off a header from five yards out into the upper right of the goal as the Gators took a 1-0 lead heading into the half.
The hosts doubled their lead just six minutes into the new half as Sagasta connected on her second goal of the match off a cross from
Autumn Fox. Sagasta had a chance for the hat trick, but Ramos recorded one of her 7 saves on the day in the 64

Natasha Gosiaco and
Paige Yeider's shots each were blocked and sailed wide left to send the match into sudden death overtime.
"I'm disappointed with the tie and our ability to finish a game up 2 goals, but hats off to Dominican for not giving up and playing the full game," added Hamm.
