Set One

Kills by Morris and Tabron opened up the scoring. Tabron and Johnson later teamed up for a block that widened the lead to 4-1, and the Gators continued to roll as Morris added another kill and Sophie Anderson dropped in an ace to make it 9-5 and prompt a Warrior timeout. SF State scored four of the next six points, featuring big kills by Haynie and Billings to push the lead to seven and force another Stanislaus State timeout. Haynie made it an 11-point lead as the Gators went up 20-9 and Jensen 's ace put SF State up by double-digits at 23-13. Hayne's fourth kill of the night gave the hosts set point which Tabron put away with a kill to the back corner for the 25-16 win. SF State hit a dominating .424 in that first frame with 17 kills and held the Warriors to a mark of .154.

Set Two

After a Morris kill to start the second, Stanislaus State rattled off three-straight to take their first lead of the night. Trailing 8-6, a Warrior miscue followed by a Morris ace tied it up at 8-all. After the Purple and Gold took a one-point lead, Sierra Adams tied it up and started a 4-0 run by the Warriors as they went up 14-11. Stanislaus State pushed their lead to 20-15, however SF State bounced back to cut it to one which was capped off by three-straight Haynie swings. The Warriors got a kill by Alana Wilson-Reid to end the run and fended off a late Gator push when Tabron narrowed the deficit to a pair, but Sierra Adams put a kill to the sideline for the 25-22 win.

Set Three

The Gators stormed to a 4-1 lead before the Warriors tied it up, and both teams battled back and forth to make it 7-7. Haynie gave the Gators a one-point lead, but Stanislaus State tied it up once again and later took a 10-9 lead that Tabron knotted up at 10-all. Blocks by Johnson & Tabron and Johnson & Morris gave the Gators a two-point cushion, and after a Warrior comeback, SF State pulled ahead 16-13 following kills by Johnson and Haynie and a block by the pair. Jensen dished to Billings for another point as SF State reached the 20-point plateau up two, and an attack error handed SF State set point, which Johnson put away with a kill to the middle for the 2-1 match lead.

Stanislaus State responded as Rachel Klopfer and Adams added three to the scoreboard to tie it up at 17-all, but SF State once again responded with a three-point swing of their own for the 20-17 lead as they looked to close out the match.
