SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco State men's basketball player Evan Zeller has been named to the 2017-18 CoSIDA Academic All-District^® Men's Basketball Team for District 8, which is comprised of teams in the West Region.

This is the second Academic All-District^® honor for Zeller, who earned the honor during his sophomore campaign. Zeller, studying accounting, maintains a 3.73 GPA. The Mission Viejo, California native is contributing 13.5 points per game and has a team-leading 60 three-pointers and is shooting 33.3 percent from deep. He also completes a team-best 81.0 percent from the free throw line. Zeller currently stands at 1,261 career points.

First-team honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America^® Team ballot with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America^® honorees announced in March.
