SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's soccer team fell to the visiting Cal State Monterey Bay Otters, 3-0, on Friday afternoon.
- The Otters (7-3-1/2-3 CCAA) ripped off 15 shots in the contest, six of which were on goal. They were lead by Sierra Levy, who netted two goals en route to the victory.
- Allie Vargas led the way with a season-high three shots
- Both teams each had three saves, with SF State's (2-8-1/0-6 CCAA) all coming in the second half.
In the 15th, Levy stole the ball form the Gator defender outside the eight meter and fired to the bottom left corner to put the Otters on the board.
Levy added another in the 32nd as Alex Kelly dished to Levy from the right side in the box, and Levy put a move on the defender and went near post past the lunging Hayley Garriott.
In the 61st minute, the ball rattled around in the box. Gabby Pejovich tapped to Melissa Wilson, who fired to the right post past the diving keeper.
Garriott tied a season high with three saves in her fifth start of the season. She faced a season-high 15 shots on the day.
