SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco State men's basketball won the final game of the Gator Gobble in a big way, 91-55, over Concordia (Ore.) on Saturday night inside the Main Gym at Don Nasser Family Plaza.
- Eleven different players scored for the Gators (4-4), including three in double digits. Linton Acliese III led SF State with 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting. Zane Paddon added 16 and Tyer Jackson recorded his first career double-double with a season-high 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
- David Wheeler led the Cavliers with a career-high 17 points. Three others had nine points apiece.
- The game was won on the glass, where SF State outrebounded Concordia 47-26. In addition to Jackson's career-high, Paddon pulled down a career-high eight rebounds. Four others had four or more each.
- SF State shot 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the field in the first half, including a scorching 53.8 percent (7-of-13) from deep. The Gators cooled off considerably in the second half but still outscored the Cavaliers by 11.
- The Gators combined for 19 assists, matching a season-high, and limited their turnovers to a season-low nine. In contrast, SF State forced 21 turnovers and cashed those in for 30 points.
- SF State outscored the Cavaliers a staggering 52-8 in the paint and had 18 second-chance points.
- The Gators had two players named to the All-Tournament Team in Acliese and Paddon. Western Oregon's Darius Lubom took home MVP honors. The Wolves' Dalven Brushier and Stanislaus State's Vida Faniel rounded out the All-Tournament Team.
- In the first game of the night, Western Oregon remained unbeaten with a 75-72 victory over Stanislaus State.
Hunter Sweet opened the game with a three-pointer but the opening possession would be the last lead by the Cavaliers. Acliese scored a couple of trips later and

Jase Wickliffe just inside the 18-minute mark to give the Gators the lead. The Cavaliers tied the game at 6-6 but Wickliffe buried a three on the next trip down and the Gators never trailed the next 37 minutes. A 9-5 Gators run gave SF State a seven-point advantage and Jackson's layup with 8:45 to go in the half extended the lead to double digits. That was part of a 13-3 Gators run that saw the lead balloon to 17.
Eche Okeke's free throw with three minutes to go grew the lead to 20 and SF State led 52-27 at the half.
The Gators scored the first five points of the second half and grew the lead to 30 with 17:34 to go on another Paddon three-pointer. He followed up with a layup to make it a 32-point lead and that lead grew to as large as 37 late in the game.
The Gators return to CCAA action on Thursday, December 5 at Cal State LA. Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on the CCAA Network and live stats will also be available at sfstategators.com.
