SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco State women's soccer team returned home on Thursday but suffered its most lopsided loss of the season, 5-0, to visiting Cal State LA at Cox Stadium.
- The Gators (2-13-1/0-11 CCAA) took 11 shots and placed six on frame.
- Thursday marked the ninth time that SF State has been shutout this season.
- Five different Gators registered a shot on goal, led by Katelyn Patterson with two.
The Golden Eagles netted their first goal in the 22nd minute, then scored two more in the span of just five minutes. Cal State LA scored two more in the 53rd and 54th minutes to put the match out of reach.
Hayley Garriott finished with four saves. Amanda Leal made six saves en route to the shutout.
SF State hosts Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday, Novemer 9. Prior to the match, the team will honor the program's five seniors: Niko Baila, Kelsie Bozart, Karla Ramos, Valentina Riveros, and Llaritza Torres.
