How They Scored
  • Jacques led off the second with a base hit and stole second. She reached third on a throwing error and scored the first win on Hayley Nunes' groundout to the pitcher.
  • The Cougars (5-9/4-8 CCAA) tied it up in the third on Nikki Andelin's RBI single down the left field line to score Melody Forstie.
  • Revoir led off the fourth with a walk, and pinch-runner Latrice Thompson stole second. Jacques reached on a hit-by-pitch and Katie Rohrer moved both runners with a sac bunt. Next batter Nunes scored the duo for a 3-1 lead on a single up the middle.
  • Vallejos whacked a double down the left field line and Andrea Hildan sacrificed her to third on a bunt. Castro reached on a hit-by-pitch and stole second, her ninth of the year, and Revoir scored the pair with a base hit to center. With two down, Revoir went to second a passed ball, and was replaced by pinch runner Torres. The junior came around on Rohrer's single to center, and she went to second on the throw. Nunes capped off the four-run frame with a base hit through the right side to make it a 7-1 lead.
  • Vallejos widened the lead with a solo shot to right, her team-leading third of the season.
