GAME ONE

- With one on and two out in the third, Antone Self was hit in his earflap by a pitch. Smutny and Robinson followed with a pair of singles that scored Dorn, who reached on an outfield single, and Self to give the Gators the a 3-2 lead.

- In the bottom of the seventh, the inning was cut short when Lopez and Mansell were caught in a throwdown. Both runners moved up 90 feet but Mansell was picked off going back to third. Jake Hernandez ended the inning and saved a run with a diving catch on Trevor Rogers's ball to left field.
- A bases-loaded single up the middle from Zach Guardino extended the Seawolves lead to 7-3 and a wild pitch made it 8-3.
- In the ninth, David Mansell doubled to the left field wall and Gabel, who walked, scored all the way from first. Dorn walked to load the bases and Rogers lined an RBI single to shallow center to cut it to 8-5 but the Gators left the bases loaded with one out.
- Luis Salinas gave up a pair of unearned runs in the first but settled down after that. A double play began a streak of a dozen consecutive batters retired. That was finally snapped by Lenney's game-tying homer in the seventh. The next three runners reached and Salinas left with the Seawolves in front, 4-3.
- Ryan Nabas came on in relief and his first pitch was a wild pitch that allowed another Seawolves run before getting out of the inning. He gave up two more in the ninth.

Boldenebro allowed one run on four hits over five and a third innings of work. Andrew Trahan came on in the ninth and was pulled mid-batter after allowing a single to Lopez and falling behind in the count to Dorn.
