CHICO, Calif. — The San Francisco State women's soccer team played 110 scoreless minutes on Friday to earn another point in the CCAA standings in a scoreless double overtime draw at Chico State.
- The Gators move to 6-6-2/4-1-2 CCAA while the Wildcats move to 7-2-4/3-1-3 CCAA.
- Cal State East Bay won its match versus Cal State San Bernardino 1-0, which moved the Pioneers into sole possession of second place. The Gators are alone in third place while Chico State slips to fifth place behind Cal State LA.
- The Gators were outshot 12-7 and 4-1 shots on goal.
- The Wildcats had a 6-2 corner kick advantage.
- The Gators' lone shot on goal came in the 105th minute when Glory Smith's shot – the final shot of the match – was saved.
"This was a great road result, we're very good happy to get a result on the road," said Head Coach John DeMartini. "The ladies are very resilient and were very composed in a tough environment."
SF State goalkeeper Marcella Salyer made three saves. Emma Hoffman made one save for the Wildcats.
