SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco State men's team fell 4-0 at home to No. 3 Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday afternoon at Cox Stadium.
- After going five games without a loss, SF State has now lost three in a row. SF State drops to 3-5-4 overall and 1-3-2 in CCAA play. The first-place Toros improve to 11-0-2 and are just one of two conference teams who remain undefeated at 5-0-1.
- The Toros outshot the Gators 15-3, including 12-1 on goal.
- Gustavo Ferrari had the Gators' lone shot on goal in the 58th minute.
- The Gators held a slight 4-3 corner kick advantage.
- Kendrick Rivas received a red card in the 75th minute, meaning the Gators defender will have to miss the team's next game at Cal Poly Pomona.
The Toros scored the first goal of the match in the 15th minute when Sulaiman Bah dished to Danny Hernandez, who finished inside the box. The Gators trailed 1-0 at the half but the Toros put the game out of reach with a pair of quick goals in the 48th minute when Hernandez scored his second goal of the day and again in the 49th minute when Bah found the back of the net. Nick Walker left no doubt with a Toros goal in the 82nd minute.
Matias Herrera Fuentes (2-5-3) made a season-high eight saves but was unable to slow the Toros offense alone. Frank Aguilar (2-0-1) made one save en route to the shutout for the Toros.
