CHICO - The San Francisco State women's basketball team could not get it done on the road and fell to Chico State 69-52 at Art Acker Gymnasium.

- Gators fall to 8-13 overall and 6-11 in the CCAA. Chico improves to 12-7 and 9-5 in the CCAA.
- Jolene Armendariz and Ashley Hart each had 11 points and three rebounds.

Down 13-5 to open the first quarter, the Gators relied on their long ball game to take the lead back. A 12-0 run gave the Gators its biggest lead of the night at 20-15 before a last second three from Gallegos cut the lead to two at the end of the first quarter. The Wildcats used their own 7-0 scoring run to reclaim the lead from the Gators. Despite the offense struggling in the second quarter, the Gators were able to stay within a possession at the end of the half. The offensive struggled spilled into the third quarter with the Gators only scoring eight points. The Wildcats stayed hot and scored 20 points to take a 51-36 lead into the final frame. The Gators came within 10 but a 14-2 run by Chico put the game out of reach for SF State.
