SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco State baseball team could not get its offense going in a 6-1 loss to close out its series with University of Colorado, Colorado Springs at Maloney Field.

- Jakob Bouhuys was the sole Gator to hit the ball.
The Gators got a run to open the first inning when
Justin Clark hit a sac fly to bring in Gonzales. Both teams went scoreless through the next five innings as the Gators put together a bend don't break defense. At the top of the seventh, the Mountain Lions broke through when Kit Wigington hit an RBI single. Caleb Stubbings gave the Mountain Lions the lead with an RBI double. Down 2-1 in the top of the ninth, the Mountain Lions added four more runs and the Gators could not piece it together in the bottom of the inning.
- Austin Moberg got the start and pitched six scoreless innings and threw six strikeouts. He also allowed five hits.
- Jack Reitsma came in relief and was charged with the loss after giving up for runs.
- Joseph Harris got the win for the Gators.
"Moberg threw great. I think we had some missed opportunities offensively. We had some guys in scoring position and just didn't get them in. Just one of those days. Would have loved to win one of those tight games but just got out of hand." said Head Coach Tony Schifano.
