SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco State men's basketball player Toby Okwuokei has been named to the 2021-22 California Collegiate Athletic Association Second Team as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

The junior guard led SF State in both scoring and rebounds this season. Okwuokei's 12.8 points per game ranked 15th in the conference and his 6.3 rebounds per game ranked 12th, while his .412 shooting percentage ranked eighth among CCAA players. Okwuokei also ranked tied for 16th in steals (1.2 per game) and 21st in minutes (28.5 per game). The Rancho Cucamonga native scored a career-high 26 points on 11-of-21 shooting in a non-conference contest at Regis on November 18. He grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds on December 2 at Humboldt State.

The Gators finished the season 11-16 overall with an 8-12 mark in CCAA play, good for seventh in the conference standings.
