TURLOCK, Calif. — The San Francisco State women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision in its final road match of the 2023 season, on Sunday at Stanislaus State.
- SF State falls to to 3-12-2 and 2-7-1 in CCAA action. Stan State moves to 7-5-5 overall and 4-2-4 in CCAA action.
- Stan State outshot SF State 17-10, including 8-3 on goal.
- The Warriors had six corner kicks while the Gators did not attempt one.
The Warriors opened the scoring in the 15th minute on a double-assist to Alisha Garcia. In the 31st minute, Stan State doubled its lead thanks to Marivic Lek-Miro's third goal of the season. The Warriors scored a late insurance goal when Haylee Heffner netted her fourth score of the year in the 84th minute.
Tone made five saves for the Gators. Warriors goalkeeper Malia Allen made three saves en route to the shutout victory.
