A 3-0 lead for the Gators disappeared quickly. Tied at 7-7, Chaminade went on an 11-2 run, forcing the Gators to sideout anytime they landed a kill. Errors from the Swords gave the Gators some life late in the set but the Gators were unable to get enough going to mount a comeback.
