- The Gators fall to 8-19 on the season and to 4-17 in the CCAA. The Toros improve to 26-1 and 20-1 in conference.
- For the first time this season, Cheyenne Mckinnie was the leading scorer with 17 points. She made all seven of her shots from the line and shot 4-for-5 from the field.

Second chance points killed the Gators early on, as the Toros scored 21 in the first half alone. Through two quarters, the Toros out-rebounded the Gators 26-7 with 16 of those boards being offensive. Scoring was not a problem for SF State who shot 60.0 percent from the field through the first two quarters.
The Gators were able to keep up with the Toros in the third and fourth quarters but could not cut the deficit to below 20.
