How It Happened

With Daniel Santos at first and Sammy Gonzales at second, Nick Upstill went to the plate with two outs in the bottom of the third. Upstill's double allowed Gonzales to score cleanly and an errant throw from the right fielder allowed Santos to cross home plate. The Gators loaded the bases with two outs in the bottom of the fifth. Justin Tamelier's pitch bounced off the catcher, allowing Nick Upstill to score off the passed ball.

The Wildcats cut the lead to one with a two-run homer in the top of the seventh, but only reached base one more time the rest of the game.
