- The Gators improve to 12-5 in one-run games this season and to 9-7 at home.
- SF State moves into sixth place in front of Chico State, who lost three of four to No. 11 Sonoma State. The two teams meet next weekend, April 21-22.

Game 1
- The Gators pounced in the first inning. Kai DeLeon hit a ball to short and Mikaela Ferreira's throw pulled Payton Applequist off the bag, which allowed DeLeon to reach safely. DeLeon later scored from third on Teya Vincent's flare single behind the circle. Vincent would come around to score on Marissa Jordan's single up the middle, and Gonzalez sent an opposite field RBI single down the right field line to make it 3-0.
- After leaving the bases loaded in the second, the Warriors cut into the lead with Applequist's two-run homer in the third and tied it in the fifth on Sheridan Gulley's two-out RBI single to left center.
- The Gators regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth on Jordan's two-out RBI single that brought home pinch runner Maddie Scott.
- Gators starter Brooklyn Heffernan worked out of another bases-loaded jam in the sixth and got Madison Flexser swinging to preserve the lead.
- Heffernan (9-9) evened her record and improved to 3-0 on the week. She scattered eight hits, walked two, and struck out five. She lost her control momentarily in the second and threw eight straight balls but battled back to get a fly ball that left the bases loaded.
- Jessell Lewis (4-10) gave up four runs, just one earned, in the loss for the Warriors. She struck out three and did not issue a walk.
Game 2
- The Gators took another first-inning lead in game two. DeLeon led the game off with a four-pitch walk and scored from second on a Guerrera single back up the middle.
- The Gators were patient at the plate and added three more runs in the second. With one out, Jordan earned a free pass, then Cam Cramer, Mia Misasi, and DeLeon drew back-to-back-to-back two-out walks that made it 2-0. Then, Gonzales drove home Cramer and Misasi with a single to center field.
- Stan State got two runs back in the third. Korie Corral reached on an error and scored on an RBI single from Ferreira, and Gulley drove in another run with an RBI single to left center.
- After that, Maddux stifled the Warriors lineup, allowing just one hit over the final four innings.
- Maddux (12-6) used 109 pitches and allowed just one earned run. She allowed four hits, walked a pair, and struck out three.
- Kyndra Morzorini (4-7) surrendered four runs on six hits in the loss for the Warriors. She walked seven and struck out a pair.
