SEASIDE, Calif. — The San Francisco State men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Cal State Monterey Bay at Cardinale Stadium. The Otters controlled the ball most of the game and had a dominate offense against the Gators.
- The Gators record falls to 2-3-1 while the Otters improve to 4-1-2.
- The Otters made 17 shots with nine of them on goal. The Gators only took three with none of them on target.
- Monterey Bay had nine corner kicks while the Gators did not take any.
- For a second time this season, no Gator drew a yellow card.
It did not take Monterey Bay long to score as Miguel Guerrero scored off a pass from Mason Ward. in the 5th minute. Janos Kommerling took a free kick for the Otters outside the goal box in the 74th minute and found the back of the net.
Mario De La Torre (1-2-1) set a new career high in saves with six. Matthias Milton played 90 minutes for the Otters and did not record a save.
