WSOC | Gators Close Out Road Trip with Loss to Regis

DENVER — The San Francisco State women's soccer team closed out their time in Colorado with a 3-0 loss to Regis University at the Regis Turf Fields Sunday morning.

  • Regis was selected to finish third in the RMAC after playing in the RMAC Championship a season ago.
  • The Gators have faced the Rangers three times since 2000, with this being the first loss the Gators have faced. They tied in 2019 and won in 2018.
  • Cheyenne Dohan had a team high three shots, all on goal.
  • SF State was outshot 16-8

Regis got on the board in the 31 minute when Sarah Wynn sent the ball to the lower left part of the goal box. She scored her second goal of the day six minutes later. The Rangers scored a third time in the 68th minute off a corner kick.

Kylie Tone (0-2) played all 90 minutes and made five saves while allowing three goals. Grace Glover made five saves to shut the Gators out.
