SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's soccer team fell 1-0 to host Cal State East Bay on Thursday night.

- The Gators move to 3-9-0 this season, 0-5-0 in CCAA play while the Pioneers improve to 6-5-1, 2-3 in 2024.
- Kylie Tone had a season-high eight saves, the most by a Gator in a single game this season.
- Lauren Johnston paced SF State with two shots.
The Pioneers recorded the first shot of the night in the 20th minute, which was saved by Tone as she went to her left. The junior had three saves in the first half and faced four shots. The Gators struggled offensively with no shot attempts in the first 45 minutes.
Abigail Kern gave Cal State East Bay a 1-0 lead in the 61st as she went to her left and pushed the shot to the bottom-left corner past the diving Tone. Lauren François tried to find the equalizer in the 63rd, but her chance went just left off the post. Emily Gehrlein-Allen fired one in in the 69th, but it was saved by Ashley Levi.
Tone (0-3-0) had her second complete game of the season, and is allowing just 1.59 goals per game. Levi (1-1-1) made a season-best three saves.
