ROHNERT PARK, Calif. - A goal in the 68th minute wasn't enough on Sunday as the San Francisco State women's soccer team lost to host Sonoma State, 2-1.

Luci Gulbransen's shot attempt in the eighth minute forced the Seawolves' goalie Ariana Beddoes to make a great save to her left. Both offenses traded opportunities in the first 45 minutes, with the Gators recording four shots and Sonoma State getting eight.
Cameryn Nunn replaced Tone in the second half for the Gators, and was tested early as the hosts took three shots in the first five minutes of the second half. SF State took the lead in the 68th as Grace Messenger dished it across the box to Mitchem, who punched it in lower right-hand corner of the goal. The Seawolves leveled things up in the 77th on Kayleigh Acree's first of the season, and Ashley Frye scored the game-winner in the 88th off a nice strike in the box.
Nunn (3-7-0) made four saves in the second half. Ariana Beddoes (5-5-4) made her 14th start and had a pair of saves in the victory.
