SAN FRANCISCO - After another 2-0 week, San Francisco State volleyball's Kimberly DeBoer and Tamiya Wilson earned CCAA Weekly honors for the week of October 21-27. DeBoer earned Setter of the Week for the fourth time this season while Wilson earns her first Offensive Player of the Week Honor this season.

In addition to being the CCAA Offensive POTW, Wilson was also named the AVCA National DII POTW.

DeBoer helped lead San Francisco State to a pair of home wins, including a victory over No. 21 Cal State LA. She posted 85 assists over seven sets and helped the Gators hit .304 for the week. The senior from Murrieta also added six kills with a .857 hitting percentage to go with 19 digs and two aces. 

Against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday, she had 42 assists and helped Tamiya Wilson post a 2024 CCAA three-set match-best 22 kills. On Saturday versus Cal State LA, DeBoer dished out 43 assists and registered 11 digs for her sixth double-double of the season. She also had four kills without making an error and two aces. 

DeBoer leads the CCAA and ranks 12th in NCAA Div. II with 11.12 assists per set.

Wilson averaged 6.29 kills, 7.5 points, and 0.86 aces per set to help lead SF State to a 2-0 week. The pair of wins kept the Gators within two matches of Cal Poly Pomona atop the CCAA standings. For the weekend, Wilson totaled 44 kills, nine digs, six aces, five blocks, and a .354 hitting percentage.

In Thursday's match against Cal State Dominguez Hills, Wilson posted a 2024 CCAA three-set match-best 22 kills. She had only four errors in the set as she recorded a .529 hitting percentage in the win.

Against Cal State LA, Wilson again had 22 kills and four aces as the Gators defeated the No. 22 team and moved past them in the national standings. She added four aces and two blocks to post 27 points in the four-set match.

Wilson is ranked fifth in the CCAA and 19th in NCAA Div. II with 4.12 kills per set. She is also fourth in the conference in hitting percentage (.298) and aces (0.45).

The homestand will continue for SF State this week as it hosts Chico State on Thursday (Oct. 31) and Stanislaus State on Saturday (Nov. 2). Both games can be viewed at CCAA on FloSports.
