SAN FRANCISCO - Tamiya Wilson and Kimberly DeBoer linked up for another strong week of competition and were named the CCAA Offense Player and Setter of the Week respectively.

Wilson averaged 5.67 kills and 7.0 points per set in a pair of Gator wins as they kept pace in the standings. SF State remains just two games back of first place. Wilson added two blocks, six aces, and 15 digs yo go along with her 35 total kills. On Thursday against Chico State, Wilson had 18 points and eight digs in a sweep. Then on Saturday, she had 17 kills, seven digs and four aces.

Wilson is ranked third in the CCAA and 11th in NCAA Div. II with 4.25 kills per set. She is also fourth in the conference in hitting percentage (.299) and aces (0.49).

DeBoer helped SF State earn a pair of sweeps to keep pace with Cal Poly Pomona and stay within two games of first place. The senior from Murrieta averaged 13.5 assists per set, while the Gators posted a .283 hitting percentage over the two matches. She also had a .571 hitting percentage to go along with two blocks, four kills and 11 digs. 

Against Chico State, she posted 41 assists, seven digs and two kills. Then on Saturday against Stanislaus State, DeBoer registered 40 assists, four digs, two blocks and two kills. DeBoer leads the CCAA and ranks 10th in NCAA Div. II with 11.3 assists per set.

San Francisco State will be on the road for a pair of matches this week when it travels to Cal State East Bay on Thursday (Nov. 7) and Cal State Monterey on Saturday (Nov. 9). Both games can be viewed at CCAA on FloSports.
