Tamiya Wilson and
Izzy Issak earned AVCA All-American Honors. DeBoer becomes the first player in program history to be named to the Second Team while Wilson and Issak earned Honorable Mention.
The three-time CCAA Setter of the Year earned All-American Honorable Mention last season. Coming off being named to the West Region Tournament team, DeBoer has dished 1231 assists on the season and has a chance to break the single season record of 1254 assists with at least one more game to play. DeBoer posted over 1000 assists for a third straight season and her 3911 career assists ranks third all-time. DeBoer also recorded 222 digs, 58 kills, 29 aces and 22 blocks.
Wilson repeats AVCA All-American Honorable Mention for a second season. She has posted with 432 kills, 289 digs, 51 aces and 45 blocks. Her 1187 career kills stands second all-time. Wilson was named the AVCA National Player of the week on October 29, making it a second straight season she had earned national weekly honors.
Issak earned All-American Honors for the first time in her career. The senior has recorded a team-high 446 kills, 292 digs and 52 blocks. She earned both Offensive and Defensive POTW during the 2024 season.
The Gators are one of eight teams left at the National Championships in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They earned the number seven seed and play second seed University of Central Oklahoma at 1:30 p.m. CST. The games will be broadcast on ESPN+. Updates will be available on Sfstategators.com.
