CSC Academic All-America: Kimberly DeBoer

VB | DeBoer Named Second Team CSC Academic All-American®

SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco State volleyball's Kimberly DeBoer adds one more award to her incredible career and is named a CSC Second Team Academic All-American®. DeBoer becomes the first volleyball player to earn the award and first SF State Athlete to earn it since Brylynn Vallejos of softball did in 2022.

DeBoer led the Gators in a record-breaking season as they finished 2024 as the National Runner-Up. She set a new single season assist record with 1392. DeBoer became the first Gator to be named a AVCA Second Team All-American. Other honors she earned this season include AVCA All-West Region First Team, D2CCA All-West Region First Team, All-West Region and NCAA Championship Tournament team, All-CCAA First Team and CCAA Setter of the Year for a third straight season. DeBoer earned her undergraduate degree and is working on her master's degree in Kinesilogy.

Off the court, DeBoer has served as the SAAC President the past three years. She spearheaded a Mental Wellness campaign during the month of March the past two years. She was the CCAA's nominee for the 2024 NCAA Women of the Year Award and earned the NCAA Division DII 50th anniversary scholarship.
