How It Happened

Around the eight-minute mark, SF State led 22-13 after Caden Flowers connected with Uniacke for a layup. However, a Tchengang dunk at the other end triggered a 14-0 run for the Warriors that spanned the next five minutes. Ten of those points came from Tchengang and the Warriors were in control, 27-22. Despite the offensive drought, the Gators headed into halftime trailing by just three, 32-29, after Bakke beat the shot clock with a three-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining on the game clock.

Uniacke and Alex Gilat powered a 10-2 Gators run that pulled SF State to within one, 42-41, with 13:37 to go, and the Gators eventually evened the game at 45-45 on Devon Jackson's driving layup. However, Jones pulled up for another basket inside the 12-minute mark to give the Warriors the lead back for good. That sparked a 16-3 Warriors run that lasted nearly eight minutes and put Stan State up 61-48 with 4:23 to play, and the Gators would get no closer than 10 points the rest of the way.
