Kaya Mitchem scored a goal to cut Chico States' lead in half but the San Francisco State women's soccer team fell to the Wildcats 2-1.

A foul by Kelsey Burrus in the box led to a penalty kick opportunity for Chico. Gabby Starr capitalized and scored in the eighth minute. Jiana Martin doubled up the score with a goal in the 17th minute. Mitchem managed some traffic and scored in the 77th minute. The Gators could get a shot off the next 13 minutes to tie the game up.
Kylie Tone (1-3-3) made five saves in the loss. Chico's Kennedy Briseno did not record a save and allowed a goal through 90 minutes.
