SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's soccer team hosted defending National Champion #1 Cal Poly Pomona at Cox Stadium. After a pair of goals scored between the sixth and seventh minute mark the Gators were able to recompose themselves but ultimately fell 2-0.

- SF State falls to 0-7-2 on the season while Cal Poly Pomona remains perfect at 9-0-0 and 2-0 in the CCAA

At the sixth minute mark, Cruz worked some traffic to score for Pomona. A minute later, Ally Henry found the back of the next to extend the lead 2-0. Kylie Tones subbed in and kept the ball out of the next the rest of the way but the Gators only managed three shots on goal and could not cut the Broncos' lead.
Kieren Crabtree (0-3-0) played 10 minutes before getting pulled. Kylie Tone made seven saves and did not allow a goal. Jenna Tetrault played 70 minutes and made two saves.
