ATHERTON, California. - The San Francisco State women's team stayed undefeated on the weekend and beat Menlo College 62-55.

- Athena Brombacher posted the Gators' first double-double since February 15 2024. She had 13 points and 12 rebounds.
- Gianna Darté led all players with 16 points. She also led the Gators with five steals.

The two teams went back and forth throughout the first quarter, neither taking a lead by more than two possessions. Geriah Bradley landed a Jumper with 13 seconds left to cut the deficit to 16-13. After both teams scored baskets to open the second quarters, both teams went cold for the next three minutes. Menlo's Zoe Carrillo scored to break the ice and extend Menlo's lead to 21-14 with 6:22 remaining in the quarter. The Gators went on a 8-2 run to come within one of Menlo's lead. Darté's lay-up gave the Gators a 24-23 lead with a little over a minute to go. Fouls allowed Menlo to take a lead but a buzzer beater three from Deonna Mayfield gave teh Gators 27-25 lead heading into the locker room.
Menlo was able to retake the lead but never could pull away. The Gators took the lead back late off a pair of made free throw shots from Brombacher. Darté scored on a lay-up to go up by four but Menlo closed out the quarter with a pair of made shots at the line. The Gators opened the final frame on a 11-2 run with a pair of three's from Simone Murray. Menlo cut the Gators' lead to three late in the quarter but Murray scored a huge three to put the Gators' up 59-53 with 1:06 remaining. Menlo drew a shoot foul on their next possession but couldn't make a basket and the Gators were able to hold onto the lead.
