VB | Four Gators Earn All-CCAA Honors

SAN FRANCISCO - Four student-athletes on the San Francisco State volleyball team were named to the All-CCAA Team. Aidan Goodrich earned First Team Honors, Grace Witcher and Tamiya Wilson both earned Second Team Honors and Melanie Hewlett earned Honorable Mention.

Goodrich earned First Team honors for the first time in her career after being named Honorable Mention the past two seasons. She finished fifth in the conference in kills per set (3.59) and fourth in points per set (4.17). Goodrich was second on the team with 248 kills and also added 203 digs and 33 blocks.

Wilson earns conference honors for a fourth time in her career. She broke the program kills record on September 13 and currently has 1,457 career kills. In addition, Wilson currently sits in second all-time with 144 service aces and tenth with 934 digs. 

Witcher rejoined the Gators after a stint at Taft College. She led the Gators in kills with 281 and finished tenth in the conference in kills per set (3.12) and sixth in points per set (3.83). She leads the conference with 51 service aces, tied for fifth most in a single season.

Hewlett put together a strong freshman campaign as the starting setter. She finished second in the CCAA in assists (829) and assists per set (9.11). Hewlett also added 175 digs and 20 blocks.
