SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco State women's team dropped their second home game to Fresno Pacific 72-59.

- Deonna Mayfield led the Gators with 13 points and went 3-for-6 from beyond the arch.
- Geriah Bradley dished out six assists.
- While the Gators won the turnover battle (22 to 17), Fresno Pacific finished with a higher shooting percentage. The Sunbirds shot 46.2 percent from the field and 52.6 from three. The Gators shot 30.6 percent.
- Fresno Pacific held a 47 to 28 advantage on rebounds.
Mayfield and Simone Murray each had threes in a 10-0 run that gave the Gators a 15-8 lead in the first quarter. The Gators went cold in the final three minutes of the quarter and Fresno Pacific came back to lead 18-15 at the end of the quarter. The Sunbirds offense stayed hot in the second quarter and shot 57.1 percent from the field. Leilani Blecha scored from beyond the arch to cut Fresno Pacific's lead down to single digits with six seconds to go but Nina Wisniewski shot a buzzer beater three to give the Sunbirds a 41-30 lead heading into the locker room.
Blecha and Mayfield had back-to-back threes to open the third quarter and Bradley was able to cut the lead to one possession at 46-43 with 4:22 remaining in the third. The Gators went cold the rest of the quarter and the Sunbirds offense continued to churn as they took a 56-43 lead into the final frame. The Gators weren't able to make up much ground in the fourth, only getting within 11 points of the lead.
SF State heads north for the weekend and will take part in the Lynda Goodrich Classic, hosted by Western Washington. First game will take place on Friday, November 28 at noon against Central Washington. Live stats will be available at sfstategators.com.
