SAN FRANCISCO - Bricen Buciak of San Francisco State has been voted the FloCollege/CCAA Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 8-14.

Buciak went 6-of-10 from the field, 2-of-3 from 3-point range, and 8-of-8 from the free throw line to post a career-high 22 points in a narrow 70-68 loss to Seattle Pacific. He added six rebounds, an assist, and a steal.

The junior forward from Morgan Hill, Calif., is now averaging 11.1 points per game, and the six rebounds were a season-high. He ranks fourth in the CCAA with an .886 free throw percentage. 

Buciak is the first CCAA Player of the Week for SF State since Jailen Daniel-Dalton earned the honor during the 2023-24 season.

The Gators will go on the road this week to continue CCAA play. They will face Cal State LA on Friday, Dec. 19, and Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sunday, Dec. 21. Catch both games on FloCollege at goccaa.org/flocollege.
